Ignorant Mob to Record New Album in Fall ’18

Ignorant Mob will visit Third Coast Recording Co. in late fall/early winter to begin recording their first studio album in many years, and their first with the original lineup since their self-titled release in 2004 (Spinout Records).
Third Coast Recording Co. is a world-class studio in Grand Haven, Michigan, founded and fronted by legendary live and studio technician Bill Chrysler, and run/maintained by a host of well-known Michigan musicians such as Joe Sturgill, Joe Hettinga, Kevin Kozel and internationally-acclaimed drummer/instructor Scott Pellegrom.
The Mob will record several new works along with a some original material dating back to 2008 when members of the band wrote and performed under the name Tomas y Los Ninos Perdidos. The recording is expected to embody an array of Ignorant Mob’s styles, including reggae, ska, Eastern-European influenced “jump” music, and live dub.
The album will be engineered by Kevin Kozel and produced by Tomas Laverty and Ignorant Mob.
